Gregg McGregor’s
focus is to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ, to preach salvation to the lost, healing to the sick, renewal to the weary,
and restoration to the broken-hearted. His ministry includes Southern Gospel singing and Contemporary Worship, preaching the
fundamental truths of the Bible, and prayer.
Gregg accepts invitations
from churches to hold revivals, or to sing and preach at special services and events. His wife, Marie, their son, Donovan
(16) and daughter, Yolunde (14), accompany him when possible.
Gregg has ministered in
song and Word in more than 2,500 services across
America
in revival services, special
services and events at churches, pastors conferences, women's ministry meetings, Honor Bound meetings, sectional meetings,
District Council meetings, and the General Council of the Assemblies of God.
In Addition to traveling
the
United States
, Gregg McGregor has sung and preached in churches and
crusades in Europe, Asia, South America, and
South Africa
. Why
America
?
After a
year of traveling and preaching in the United States as missionaries to America, on the conviction that God called them, and
with growing passion for the American church, Gregg and Marie McGregor sold their home and business, and moved from Johannesburg,
South Africa to Nashville, Tennessee in 1996.
The
United States
has been a blessing to
South
Africa
in many ways. Many missionaries from
America
gave years of their lives to help spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ in
South
Africa
. It is time for South African missionaries - the product of American missionaries
- to bless the
United States
in return.

The Beginning of Ministry
One night
in 1956, Gregg’s father, the late George McGregor - wealthy South African business man at the time - dreamed he heard
the telephone ring. In his dream he answered and a voice said to him, "Is this George McGregor?"
He said, "Yes."
The voice said, "Read Matthew 15:7 and 8."
His priest
was not able to answer his questions about the meaning of his dream and advised him to forget about it. However, following
the leading of the Holy Spirit, he obediently accepted Jesus Christ as his Personal Savior. Soon after, he met missionaries
from
America
who ushered him in to be baptized and filled with the Holy Spirit. (Strangers In A Foreign Land)
Rev. George
Edward McGregor became a pioneer evangelist in
South Africa
.
Gregg and
his siblings were actively involved in their parents’ ministry since a young age. Being responsible for praise
and worship, special singing, youth crusades, advertising, and setting up of the massive tents throughout
South Africa -
where they experienced the miraculous power of God in the crusades
and learned to trust Him - they were drafted in to ministry at a very young age.
A Vow To Continue
In October 1985, after 30 years of laboring on the missions fiedd, George McGregor was promoted to be
with Jesus. As his casket was lowered into the earth, the McGregor family made a vow unto God to continue proclaiming the
Gospel of Jesus Christ. And in May 1992, when their dear mother, Mary McGregor, was laid to rest, the McGregor family renewed
their vow.
